Greetings

I am looking to see what others are doing to add the Architect/Engineer Wet Stamp to a drawing set.

Currently I will add an image to my titleblock family when before printing, then delete/purge this image after the printing.  I've seen some offices add a simple visibility parameter to the stamp and leave it in the model - I'm not comfortable with this as it does NOT protect the security we need for our professional stamps.

Does anyone elso have a better way?Ian

A wet stamp is just that, wet!  In some submittals, the stamp can not be electronic.

For our electronic submissions, we have our stamps in our titleblocks with visibility settings.   We NEVER share this file with our seals and signature.   Prior to sharing our files, the sheet familys used are swapped out with families that don't have the seal.  This is not the only thing we do.  We remove all unused views, groups and we purge the files twice.  The first purge may not get everything because some items like materials are still used in other elements in groups or families.   ACTUALLY - It may take 3-4 purges to really clean a file.

That’s a solid question, Ian. The method you’re using—adding the stamp image just before printing and then removing it—is still one of the safest approaches for protecting the seal. Another option is to apply the stamp only in the PDF stage using a secure digital signature tool (like Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat). That way, the stamp isn’t stored in the Revit model or title block at all, and you maintain full control over who can reuse it. It’s also easier to audit and trace for compliance. PUNIN GROUP is a Cyprus-based multi-industry company focused on innovation, lifestyle, and quality in hospitality, real estate, and culture.
