Hi all,

I have been drafting with AutoCAD for the last 10 years. I finally convinced my current employer to get Revit.

I will be scouring the internets for (free) resources, tips + tricks, as I have no experience with Revit.

I may post some questions, but I'm sure any questions I have, have been asked before.

If you have any tips for starting out, please feel free to let me know.

I'm on the Central Coast of New South Wales Australia, about an hour north of Sydney.

What i would suggest is buy the book "autodesk revit architecture 2015" by Eric Wing. He does a very good job of step by step training through this tutorial. And if you get stumped on something you can even email him. I have personally purchased 2 of his books and found them very informative. Other than that, you just have to dive in with an open mind and work with it. After a month or two of revit you will not want to go back to autocad again.
