I have created a family which has a 3D dwg file inserted into it. I have created a parameter which controls the scaling factor of the dwg so it can grow or shrink in the poroject. When I flex the parameter in the family it works fine but when I place the family in the porject the dwg won't scale even though the parameter changes as expected. Has anyone come accross this?

Maybe you can post the family. I tried importing a dwg and attaching a parameter to it. It wouldn't stretch for me at all.

Attached is the family im working with. You will see that the dwg scales fine in the family editor, If you can get the dwg to scale once its in a project let me know.

Does anyone know whether there is a solution to this? I am also having this kind of problem in Revit Architecture 2010.
Cheers, J-P
