Hi, I would like to link the parameters "width" and "height" of the nested family "Panel door_p" to the parameters :" Door Panel width" and "Frame Height_f" in the host family "Wardrobe base" but once I load the nested family in the host family, no option to choose the little button appear in the nested family Type Properties.

Please someone can help me?

Thanks

With shared nested family, only instance parameters can be transferred. Either, change parameters to instance (you can change them back to type in the parent family if needed) or uncheck shared in panel_doorp file before loading to the parent family.

Thanks Pijpiwo, but I had before loaded the nest family "upper frame_generic model" in the host family and also if its parameters are of Type,  it works and I can link them to the parameter in the host family.

I tried also to change to instance parameters but It doesn't work the same!  Sad

Yes it worked, only because the 'upper frame' family is not shared.
