Does this (or could this) exist....

Say I have the following views....they currently appear alphabetically in the plan view list:

T/ Masonry: 12'-0"

T/Slab: 0'-0"

Roof: 14'-0"

When I create them, I'd like them to show in the order of their elevation height instead:

Roof: 14'-0"

T/ Masonry: 12'-0"

T/ Slab: 0'-0"

I've noticed if I change the name plotted/shown on the detail marker, that can affect the list order, but I don't always trust the fellow workset users to not mess something up there. Is there currently a setting that puts them in order of elevation height? Because that would be awesome, especially when I have large lists and alphabetically does nothing for me! Smile

You can add a Project parameter to the sheet and then in your Browser Organization Properties set it to filter by that parameter.  For example create a Project Parameter called Sheet Order, then in the properties you would have to put a number in the Sheet Order parameter such as

1 = Roof: 14'-0"

2 = T/ Masonry: 12'-0"

3 = T/ Slab: 0'-0"

Then you can set your Browser organization to Sort by Sheet Order.

As I was going thru the steps you suggested, I came across an even better solution:

- View tab, Windows panel, User Interface dropdown: Browser Organization

- Select/check: "All Disciplines", then edit

- Grouping tab, at the bottom change Sort by to: "Associated Level" and choose decending; okay, apply...

BINGO!

Thanks so much! :D
