Hi,
I'm using Revit 2015. I have a canopy that I've modelled and would like to annotate a 3D view with lines and dimensions to show the setting out.
I've set up the 3D view as orthographic, and clicked on Save Orientation and Lock View.
I was expecting to be able to add detail lines to the view - but the Detail like button in the ribbon bar is greyed out.
Is it possible to add annotation to a 3D view?
Thanks.

i believe you can annotation once the view is placed on a sheet.
not sure about dimensions though.
