Hi all, We are trying to create an element to be used in a very organic shaped roof. The element is a corner piece to a thatched roof. Refer attached image. We are able to create this element in Studio Max and export the image as a dwg. However, revit doesn't seem to like the dwg. My goal is to create this shape as family where I can nominate a number of cord lengths (the length of the hip rafter it will sit on) I a fishing for ideas/solutions. Any imput is appreciated. cadjockey

Hi All, I have been able to create a grass roof using solely revit. This is what I have so far. refer attached. The corner pieces can be adjusted to the desired hip rafter length and pitch. cadjockey Post edited on 2006-03-28 01:56:08

Hi all, You will notice that the corner pieces are fillied with a number of lines. This is the result of creating them using a segmented sweep. Is there are way to remove these? cadjockey
