Does anyone know why the (3) 2x8 beam wont show in elevations but will in 3D?
Also, anyone know why Spoy Slope seems to work fine on Gable roofs but not properly on Hip roofs?
Thirdly, does anyone know an easy to set up TWIN windows so they show properly in Schedules?
Thanks!
Gary

Spot slopes work correctly on hips... it is a process issue. From an elevation, the first thing revit sees at a hip is the hip ridge slop. Use yuour tab key to correctly pick the roof beyond.
Regarding the beam. Is this a family you built? Look at it's settings. Otherwise look at your settings - both detail level and VG.
What is correct schedule for your 'twin windows'? Seperate or as one? Did you use a nested window in a family and you want individual? If so, the nested family has to be shared.

Great WWHub,
I was able to make the Spot Slope work by Tabbing through,
And found my detail level wrong (Dumb me
But the Twin windows- I don't know where to start. I want to model a Twin 32 x 60 Double Hung with trim. You mention "Nested" (not sure what that is). Can you tell me where to get started?
Thanks again!

You still do not say how you want to schedule. Some people schedule mulled windows as one unit whereas others schedule them independently. We schedule independently. As such, we group the mulled individual units with the proper trim. This doesn't work if the trim is in the window family. In that case, you might edit the window family removing any trim and save it named xxx w/o trim (set to shared). Then edit the normal window and nest in the shared window, adjust the trim and save this as say xxx mulled. This will schedule as two windows. Read this in your HELP.
