Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default leader direction on symbol tags in Revit 8.1? I want to add keynotes to a drawing and after the tag is placed I have the option of adding a leader but it always wants to go to the left. Do I have to create a new family or is there another way? Better yet, is there a way to place the leader first and then the tag after?

It will always default to the left and you have to place the tag first. Maybe Revit 9 will have some of what you're asking for. I know they've added keynote functionality.

I was wishing but I guess I will wait for 9 to get here at the office. I'll keep my fingers crossed-thanks.
