Hello. Ater joining two roof planes, some odd geometry appears. If I unjoin, it goes away.
How do I prevent this? Or how do I get rid of it.
A couple pdfs attached and the REVIT (2016) file.

revit 2016 file now attached. I had to strip everything out of it to get it small enough t attach but roofs still show.

I'm assuming you did this in 2016 because I can't open it. Just looking at the images it looks like its a fascia, do you have a fascia put on the roof?

no fascia.
generic roof, generic walls.
