Good morning, dear Revit experts;
Has anyone tried to export a subcategory to CAD to have it in the resulting .dwg file on its own layer, but nit on the layer of the parental category?
e.g., if I created a subcategory “Trees” under “Site” or “Details”, assigned it in the Modify DWG/DXF Export Setup to be a “Trees” layer in the CAD file and want to have it in the CAD file directly on “Trees” layer, but not on “Site” or “Details”.
I have many trees and to explode each “Tree” block in CAD is not acceptable.
I use “Export all properties BYLAYER, and create new layers for overrides” mode. (Revit 2013).
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
