I have two roofs that meet cleanly. Though they wont be joined...I still was able to hide the seam line. BUT it still makes a slight dotted line. This is completely new to me. Can anyone tell me why this is showing up? heres a screen shot

A couple of thoughts..
1) Are they the same phase?
2) Can you make the two roof a single roof?
3) If the roof must be two separate roofs, then try using the align tool to align the roof faces that should be flush.
4) How did you try to hide the line? Did you use the linework override button and make it Invisible lines? (If not try that)
5) Worst case scenario delete roof and model and inplace family?
hope this helps....
