I have been trying all day to get my window mutins to work but something is going wrong and I don't know where to fix it or what I'm doing wrong in setting this up.

I have started with a basic window family and created reference planes where I would like my mutins to be positioned along the window. I start my sweep and make sure to lock my path to the window and my profile to the same window; however, when I change the sill insert my mutins do not follow the window I locked my sweep to. I have tried adding reference planes to the window and locking them but nothing seems to be working.

Please help! It is starting to drive me crazy.

Reference planes added after elements are added have no affect.   Always place reference planes first.

Not sure what you are locking to what..... Probably would have to see the family.

When you do your sweep, you say you lock itto the window.   Again - not sure how you do that.  What are you using to define your path?

I think I'm going to have to restart the window from scratch instead of using one of Revit's windows and trying to make it into what I need it to be.

Thanks!
