Hello,

I am trying to update my model of an existing building which has lead paint in it.  I want to highlight these walls seperately (using filters or color schemes) by creating an Instance Project Parameter.

My only problem is that I need the parameter to be specific to a certain side of the wall.  CryingInterior vs exterior, or have the ability to click and select that type of wall).

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Rick

Sorry, I don't know why it put in that stupid face.  It was just supposed to be a parenthesis.

You could 'paint' a different material on that wall face.

Can materials be assigned parameters?

Nevermind, figured it out.  That is pretty handy, thanks for the help.

Only problem with using the material method and painting the walls, is that I can't sort or override the graphics by materials.  At least, I can't figure out how to do that if it is possible.
