i have a co-worker who needs to save an 8.1 file down to an 8.0 file. apparently they tried to open it with 8.0 and got the message about "file was created using a later version". is there a way to do this? Thanks

Saving a file from 8.1 to 8.0 is not possible.

gerry's right ... once you open an 8.0 in 8.1 it will save it as the newer and there's no goin' back.
