Hi guys,

I'm pretty new on the forum, I've tried searching all over the forums and watching different youtube videos but I can't seem to find the answer for my question.

I need to make a roof that is asymmetrical with a constant ridge line whcih also has a curved part on one end. I have attached the roof plan below with the angles the sides are offset at to each other. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's an existing building that we are doing work to. If nothing works then I may just have to revert back to trusty AutoCad... I'm using Revit 2014 LT.

I deleted your post from yesterday since you re-posted today.

Your description is incomplete.  You say a constant ridge but you say nothing about the eaves.   If the eaves too are constant, then the surface is warped and Revit's standard roof will not work.

Why would you ever goto CAD to do this?  You can do a model in place and create this or you can create a mass and do roof by face.

Thanks for that, Apologies for the repost. The eaves are also constant, at the same level the whole way arount the building.

Unfortunately I only have access to Revit LT. I don't think the massing tools are available in this version whcih is why I was looking for an alternate way to do it. Cad would not be ideal to be honst but my boss is certainly becoming irritated with the length of time I am taking to try to figure this out.

Revi lite is not meant for issues like this.   It is only for simple projects.   Use CAD for this roof.
