I am having a problem with the new parameter Host Count.

I have 7 identical beams (Host count = 7)

Each beam has one set of ties with 9 Ties in the set

Each Beam has 6 main bars

On My Rebar Schedule I have the Parameters:  Host Count, Count, Quantity

For the Ties Revit returns the values 7, 7, 63  - this is correct

For the main bars Revit returns the values 7, 7, 42 - this is correct

I want to add a calculated field Number of Bars in Each Beam

The Formula is Quantity / Host Count

For the Ties the result should be 63/7 = 9, but Revit returns 7

For the main bars the result should be 42/7 = 6, but Revit returns 0

To try and find out what Revit was doing I changed the formula

Formula: Quantity + 1

For the Ties the result should be 63+1 = 64 , but Revit returns 70 (this is Quantity+Host Count)

For the main bars the result should be 42+1 = 43, but Revit returns 84 (this is Quantityx2)

Other variations of this formula produce equally odd results

Could some one explain this behavior?
