There probably is a really simple answer for this, I just can't seem to find it.
My material parameters for a door aren't showing up in the properties dialogue when I have the door loaded into a project. They only show up in the "edit type" dialogue. Is there a way to choose what parameters show up in the properties pallette???
Currently using Revit '14.

Only type parameters can be accessed through ‘edit type’. Instance parameters, on the other hand, show up in the properties window when the object is selected.
In your door family, change material parameter to instance.
