I can't seem to figure out how to change the location of the cut plane. I click on the elevation tag while in plan view, and i thought that would allow me to move the "blue line" that i remember used to appear in my drawing, but it doesn't show up. Any ideas?

hmm....i seem to have figured out that you need to click on the little triangular part of the tag.

There are elevation tags and there are the callout heads.  click on an elevation tag, you will activate the "blue lien" that you can stretch/ move.  if you click on the callout head, without selecting the elevations themselves, you can move the callout head, without affecting the "blue line" of the elevation.

important if youre cleaning up the sheets and need to move stuff around so they fit.

However, this brings me to a question that ive been pondering with for some time.  I noticed that if you move an elevation callout head (not the tag, leaving the "blue line" intact)  it moves that tag in all views.  For example I have a floor plan at 1/8" scale and i want the same elevation tagged in a detailed millwork plan.  when i move it to the right place in either of the plans it changes the location for both.  it would be ideal to be able to change move those callout tags independently.  Is there a way to get around this?
