I was just wanting to get opinions from everyone.  I have been thinking of this for some time now and thought I would see what everyone thought.  I have spent countless hours learning the in and outs of Revit MEP as I am sure most of you have.  However,  there are still newbies learning revit as well as veterans that run across issues.  My thought was what if I was to offer Revit Electrical support/training.  I would offer online and over the phone support.  You could pick up the phone give me a call with your issue and if I could not answer it or guide your through it we could do remote desktop support where I could see your machine and show step by step the solution to your problem.  Also I have experience with building families, project setup, worksets, and many more aspects of revit itself.  This service could be offered at a very fair rate due to the remote interaction.  Please give me your opinions good or bad.

Thanks for you time and respone.

Find a need. Fill a need.

Sounds ok to me.

Having online live support chat feature would be helpful. People these days avoid talking over the phone.

You may come across resistance from IT departments with regards to remote desktop access. Maybe a way of avoiding taking over someones machine is to simply provide a live stream service whereupon clients can watch your computer screen live as you show them verbally using skypehow to use Revit.
