Revit 2016:
I am updating the revit standards to match our office's.
For the dimension strings there is a check box to edit the text to suppress spaces. For regular text or when I am editing a tag (like the elevation tag in the level head family), there is no option to do this. The attached jpeg shows the dimension text with suppressed spaces, while the text automatically filled in by the level heads doesn't suppress the spaces. It would be nice to edit the text once, like it autocad, and then use that text for the tags and for the dimension styles.
Is there a way to do this?

Sorry, you can't do it all from one setting it is set to project units and the suppress spaces is set there. Otherwise it is set in the family....see attached.

Perfect thanks, I didn't see that little 'edit parameters unit's format' button. So many options within options within options.
