After creating a toposurface manually by points I have found that when I create a contour label line the text is inverted, that is it is upside down relative to project north. This happens no matter which way I draw the line to create the label, from top to bottom or bottom to top, and using the rotate tool makes no difference to the display. Can anyone offer advice on this?

I'm having this problem also. I wondered since this post is over a year old if anyone has come up with a solution. The contour labeling so cool. But it's frustrating since my contour labels are upside down!

The labels always read as if you are positioned on the downhill side. If you can orient your site so that higher elevations are at the top, it works great...a solution to one problem that probably creates other more important problems. I was told by a Revit expert that there is no work-around for this short of manually labelling each line yourself.
