So my firm has gotten the contours for the toposurface from the city as usual. We started the model long before we finally got the correct countour lines and now have created the site with the AutoCAD file. Our issue is that now the building is hundreds of feet below the surface and we are trying to figure out how to get them to be on the same level, but still have the correct spot levels for the site (300, 305, 310, whatever) and keep the building where it is at 0'-0" for level 1 so that we don't need to move the building up and mess the entire building up. Is their any way around moving the building and having to change things all over the place? Or is their a way that we can have the site in it's own thing and have the spot levels correct and it be at 0'-0" like it was originally started. We are also using Revit 2014.
