hi all. so for some reason that i can't understand, the pipe centerlines are somehow connected to the pipe insulation. when i turn off the insulation, even though the center line says that it's on, they turn off also.

on another note: we plot our floor plans with hidden lines. how can i print it to not show every line that is under the pipe. with Autocad you could print with legacy properties. i don't know if there is a setting that i'm missing in revit. it just makes it hard to make out what is happening when the pipe has fittings or accessories in the drop.

thank you in advance.

vinny,

I saw posts on this in other forums so you are not unique.   I also checked it out and it works as you said except the centerlines remain on pipes without insulation.  Look on the autodesk site and post the question there.

thanks for the insite. if the pipe has insulation shown on it, it has to be turned on, or the centerlines turn off with it.
