Revit 2015

I cannot seem to find a CMU wall.  It seems like I should just be able to go ahead and laod one or else duplicate an existing wall and change the material to CMU with the CMU pattern in elevation view.  I cannot find that hatch pattern either.

Using help is not really the problem.

When I click the wall command, there are no choices for CMU.

When I create a wall then edit the type and duplicate and call it CMU, then go into the structure of the wall and the material, there is no option for CMU anywhere.

I recall seeing CMU walls (in the 3D view) on earlier versions of Revit Structure.  But as I search through the entire program and libraries, there is no CMU wall or even a CMU material with that pattern.  Revit has the CMU cut pattern, but not the CMU surface pattern.  Seems strange to not be able to create a CMU wall.

Naturally I am assuming I am wrong, as that has indeed happened before.  But this time it appears that Revit doesn't know that CMU exists.  Please prove me wrong!

You say you know how to use the help but do you read it?   Obviously not

There are only a couple of default walls in Revit and CMU is not one of them.   YHou have to follow the instructions in your HELP to create the walls you need.

I opened my revit 2015 otb and in the wall types there is exterior cmu w/ furring or brick, etc... Just duplicate one of those and nuke the furring. When i open my materials list, concrete masonry units shows up
