hey guys, could someone please give me tips on how to turn arch-shaped mass into roof?

i've tried to use 'roof by face' option, only to see the notorious message

'None of the created elements are visible in 3D View: {3D} View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings.'

i've tried to  attach the revit file so that u'd be able to check it out urselves, but somehow kept failing.

i'd do anything, and i mean ANYTHING to get it done

please save this miserable newb

thank u so much

"....None of the created elements are visible in 3D View:..."   Means the category is not on in VG.

Typically mass is not on.

What I tend to do is model object under "Generic Models" so I can use the standard geometry tools, instead of the massing modeling tools.

Just make sure your arch isn't too tight, meaning the radius is more than a couple feet.  Revit doesn't handle small radius'd roofs very well I'm discovering.
