I am using REVIT 2015 and trying to insert an elevation tag into a floor plan, but receive an error stating: "Can't create this type of element in this view in the current mode." But I can insert section tags, wall tags, and door tags. I've attached a screen capture of the error message.  Can someone help me figure out what this means and how to fix it?  Thanks~

Are the tags on in VG/annotation tab?

It was crunch-time, 3am, and I couldn't figure out why they weren't appearing. In the light of day I found that the elevation box in the V/GO options was unchecked. Thank you~
