I would like to show stucco with a horizontal line patterr in it, for my exterior elevations. Right now I can only show one. How do I do that? Have a sand texture over a clapboard texture. Thank you.

You can't do it with one texture.  You have to use two with the outer one being transparent.

I haven't tested this out but...  theoretically you should be able to make a model pattern then emulates the sand pattern and add horizontal lines to it in the spacing you want.  Of course this requires editing the .pat file which can be quite confusing at times.

It is possible. I've done this before and it works well.

To follow up on this…, it’s a very simple process. Just combine two existing (or create new) pattern codes in one .pat file.

Revit .pat file is located here: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\<your revit version>\Data.

Any acad hatch pattern will work as well.

That might work with simple patterns but hatches define what used to be pen movements with each new segment referenced off the end of the last move.  I don't see how this is accomplished.

Pijpiwo's suggestion will work just fine.

Just concatenate the numeric pattern definition portions, shown coloured, below non-numeric headings, shown uncoloured,  as presented in the posted image.

However not all AutoCAD patterns will work. Scale can be a problem. Some stock patterns are far too small and busy for Revit, others are far too large.
