Hey guys I am trying to show the outline of the building only. I have tried using show hidden lines but it shows both inside and outside of the wall and windows.

I am currently using the linework tool which is a bit slow. 

Is there a better way? Thanks.

The linework tool will not give you the outline ONLY as you asked but perhaps you mean you only want to change the outline of the building.   If that is the case, click on the visual style button at the bottom, then the graphic display options, view must be hidden line, then under silhouettes, pick the line you want to use and apply it.  NOTE:  This will outline some elements you may not want outlined.  For those few elements, you can now use the linework tool to change these back.
