so i have a wall that extends past a roof, so it's partially interior and exterior, is there a way to set a boundry at the bottom of the ceiling for the interior finish, and then have it apply the exterior cladding to the remainder?
this is a screen-shot of the wall in question http://puu.sh/h6y4e/54c56439d8.jpg
thanks

You would need to split your walls at that location and you could use a stacked wall or simply one wall up to the ceiling and another beyond that. If you don't need to get really technical then you could just use one wall type and use the split face tool and paint it.

Teafoe's answer will work. The one shown here in your help may also work.
