I am dealing with coolent lines for refrigerator/ freezer condencers, and I am wondering how do I lable them supply and return? do I just do it with tages or can I do it with the piping itself (which would be more preferable).

"which would be more preferable"  Which is more preferable to you?  You can tag them, you can use just text, you can just have the supply/return piping/ u can make them different colors, etc.  It really is up to you.

There are 3 main piping systems that revit has: Supply, Return, and Other. You need to duplicate from one of these to suite the type of system you want. If you duplicate the "supply" system for a Chilled Water Return system you are creating you will run into direction of flow issues. But if you would just duplicate a supply pipe system (preferable Revit's original "Supply" system), and make a condensor water supply, then do the same for the return. Then you can right click on the pipe system and edit the properies of that system, as far as color of the run, the system abbreviation, etc.

The best way i found to do it is to 1) make the pipe system, 2) create a tag with a label referencing size, and system abbreviation. 3) Insert that into your project then start tagging away.

Hope it helps.
