I am not sure I am going about this the right way but I am trying to construct a wall which has a brick plinth and render which starts at 975 above the foundation height. I have created this as attached. The render layer is unlocked so I can move this up to the line that the concrete masonry blocks start. However in elevation the surface pattern for the 'common brick' does not show.
Is there a reason for this? Is there a way to lock the render layer to the 975 heights as well? I tried spliting the render layer and changing the lower section to air but this did not seem to help.
Any advice apprecaited.
Many Thanks,
Simon
