I have found my wheel chair symbol...
I have tired to insert it under symbol and loaded the family etc...
it is not appearing in th elist of available symobols am i missing something...
Is kept under detai _ annotation so am assuming there is and issue here?
Can anyone help?

Are you sure it is a detail component and not model? We have one and it's under Architecture>Component

We created our own symbols in 2009. I'm not sure if any wre every provided with Revit... at least I can't find any in my old libraries.
I agree though, that this should be a symbol and not a detail or model component.
