Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, this is my first post here.

I was trying to export a revit file to an NWC for a client but due to our Navisworks 2015 not being able to be properly deployed I cannot just use the "export" button in Revit 2015.

I tried to just detach a model from central and then open it directly into navisworks using apphend but I keep getting that the model is corrupt. So my other solution was to export an FBX file from Revit and then open that FBX model in Navisworks and then export the FBX as an NWC from there.

I guess my question is is there a difference between an FBX to Navisworks and a Revit model to Navisworks?

Or will the same information be conveyed?

You could export a dwf and append that to your main model.

If you go to your control panel>clcik programs> programs and features> then right click the version of Navis you are working in & click "Unistal/change" >then click the "add or remove features" button> and select the program you want the exporter feature to interact with (probably the version of revit you are using). Hope it helps.
