Hi all!

I have to create an opaque annotation family with lines and text on top of the filled region (it should cover elements below it in the project). (Revit 2014).

I create a generic annotation family with lines which I need. Then I import there another family which consist only of a filled region. It covers my lines in the family, but the lines are on top of the region after I load the family in the project.

Is it possible to make it in not so strange way, but in one family (a symbol, generic annotations or anything else)?

Thank you.

hi Glenlake,

Why do you need this filled region? Is this to only keep the text readable?

If so, on your label "edit Type" you can give the label a border and set the 'Background' from Transparent to Opaque.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for the reply.

I actually use both text kinds - opaque and transparent.

This Filled region i need to show in this detail hatches representing different textures.

I tried a detail item -- and ilines, after the family is loaded in the project, appear below the filled region.

Why is it so?

 Thank you again.
