We're using Revit Architecture 2014.  How do we retain visibility graphics settings for our consultant files? Everytime our consultants update their Revit models and we reload them, we have to go through every view and reset the "revit link display settings".  It is beyond time consuming.  Is there a way to set a template or filter to retain our display settings when we get our updated consultant models?

Thanks.

I don't understand what you are doing.  Are you rloading or are you deleting and re-linking.  All of your VG strring should remain except possibly fo hidden individual elements.

Please explain the process you are using.

Our PM is doing it, not me.  I believe he's deleting and relinking.  How SHOULD we be updating our consultant files?

Use the reload from function in the manage links area.... The file name can change and that doesn't matter, even the path can change.

I always recommend that the linked file be placed in the same directory or sub-directory of where your Revit file is.  We save the new linked file with basically the same name except we always add the date to the name so it is easy to see if you have the latest loaded.
