So currentl I'm using Revit 2014. I'm trying to design a roof that will sit between two buildings the shape of the roof is attached. The first part of the roof I was able to put together perfectly and everything is working how I would like it to, but the second half isn't. I don't know what's happening but he z-purlings aren't lining up. The Reference plane is suppose to be the same for all the trusses but when I cut a section I the plane is not in line with the truss when they are.

You have not given us enough information.

You say roof but do you really mean roof framing?  If it is a roof, then why isn't it one roof, not seperate roofs?

You statement about the reference plan has no meaning to us at all.  We don't know where it is or how you are using it.

You do know that you can attach framing elements to the bottom of a roof?

Definitely not enough info…, I’m not sure what you’re doing either, but I’ve noticed jagged section line on you picture. This section view might not be parallel to the geometry. Could this be a problem, or at least a part of the problem?
