I've build a model in exisisting construction, demolished some of it and then rebuild a new area. After that i made ventilation on one floor and i dont know at what point, but now i got a lone line from the middle og my building stretching way out. I cant remove or delete it, i cant even select it. I have tryed to select the whole building but nothing seems to help. The line is also only shown in new construction phases.

I'm using Revit 2014

Anyone seen this problem before?

Does this line print? If it doesn't print then does it matter?

I've had something like this happen before, but with linked models. I forget that I have 'select links' turned off and then it takes a little while for me to figure out it's an element in a linked model.

-----------------------------------

Using Revit2014, dragging the rest of the company with me from AutoCAD2008. When will the whining stop?

Do you have anything linked into your project?  If so is it part of the link? Can you do a save-as and purge your project and ease everything but the line and upload it here so we can take a look

Did you audit the file?   That should be your first step.

Then I would use a bubble sort to try and identify what may be causing this.  Delete half the elements and see if it goes away.  If it doesn't, then delete half of what's left....continue until you isolate the problem to a group that you can then work with using the same process.

There's nothing attached, make sure your file size is small enough, there is a 2Mb limit

I'll tri again, i can see now that the line is somehow depending on the 04 1 sal level

But still cant figure how to remove it without deleting the entire level. A little progress atleast.

Thanks.

It seems to be a supply duct.  There was one element in the project but when I deleted that, the line still did not go away.   You can turn that category on/off but the file must be corrupted.
