Is there some kind of pray you have to make before doing the void. Cause it seems revit has its own will lol.
Im normally successful when cutting solids with voids, but a few times it seems like revit stubbornly refuses to make it happen.
Please help me figure out what am I doing wrong. In my projects I cant be limited by some random unknown reason that revit has to not
make certain voids. I cant just design a whole thing, and then make a rain dance before making each void...
I send you an example of a situation where that happens. Here my solid needs to be carved with that exact form, because that part will
be a plastic piece that will be a attached to another product.
Please Please Please. Help me. I will send you money designed in revit PP.

Sorry but what you show seems to be simple process problems. If you want something to be a void, it has to start out as a void, not a solid. If these are in-place families, then the void has to be created in the in-place family, not seperate and you assign it to cut the solid before you finish the void.

I think what you really mean is you want the two solids to join as these two do. In that case, use the join tool while in the family.
