I am aware that revit has 'weaknesses' when it comes to wall wrappings. I was wondering if anyone could suggest ways to get around the wall wrapping issues. Is there ANOTHER METHOD of making walls look correct in plans and sections when the wall wrapping is not happening or working correctly?
I have attached screenshots of the wall in plan and section and it's structure. As you can see the wall is set to wrap at exterior ends and exterior inserts but it doesn't. Is there anything I am doing wrong or anything I can try?

You need to read the various topics in your Help on wall wrapping:

Pay attention to this one: http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2014/ENU/?caas=caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Unpredictable-wall-wrapping-geometry-in-window-reveals-in-Revit.html
^^ Set wrap in the window family.
Wall wrapping is a plan only function - not heads or sills of inserts.

THANK YOU WWHUB! YOU ALWAYS REPLY PROMPTLY
AFTER READING YOUR LINKS I WAS ABLE TO EDIT FAMILY, CREATE NEW REF PLANE, SELECT WALL CLOSURE AND CREATE NEW PARAMETER FOR WALL WRAPPING. PROBLEM SOLVED.
DO I JUST EDIT THE WALL IN SECTION BY MODIFYING THE COMPOUND WALL VERTICALLY AND RETURNING BRICK TO DOOR AND WINDOW OPENINGS?

If I need returns at window sills, I would model sloping sills using a hosted sweep but for some returns, I might just use the paint tool and modify edit cut profile in sections.
If you do sloping sills you have to first use a void sweep to cut the wall out for the sill.

Just wanted to add a few images of how do use sweeps in a sill condition.
- Need to cut the brick using a reveal
- Fill that space with a sloping brick sill
- What it looks like in model section.
