I am in the process of creating some casework families with several parameters and creating type catalogs for these families. Is there a way to include Visibility (Yes/No) parameters in a type catalog? Second, when specifying a formula for Yes/No parameters is there a way to specify a range for the parameter to be on (24"<Height<30"Winking or is it simply a limit (Height<30"Winking? Finally, is there a way to use conditional Formatting in Yes/No Parameters? I tried several ways to format it but it either gives me an error for inconsistant units or an error for an unspecified family. Of those formats I have tried using "yes"/"no", 0/1, +/-, "true"/"false", and "t"/"f" for the output. Any help or insights into this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes/No parameters do not need conditional statements in order function. When adding a formula to a Yes/No parameter if the formula is true, its yes, otherwise it will be set as no. For instance: Height<30" is sufficient. Therefore if the height was say 26" the visibility would be Yes. Not sure about using them in type catalogues, never tried... I guess you could try: (where Visibility param is the name of your Yes/No Param) ,Visibility param##other##Millimeters Then when listing each type set the value as blank or "visibility param"?? Not sure on this bit... May require some experimenting. HTH.
