Hi all,

Let me first state that i know how to export a schedule into a "dumb" excel file.

What i am looking for here is a way to have that excel file linked somehow to the revit file, so that when the revit file is updated, it will also update the excel file.

Is this even possible or am i aiming way too high?

Cheers,

Kristian.

No this isn't possible to link them, unless there is an add-in out there I am not aware of.

We have an Excel link tool from our reseller NTI.DK. It is possible to change information in Excel, and import it back into Revit, but there is not an option for keeping Excel updated. the link is also very fragile, if an exported element is deleted in Revit the link will die for instance.
