CAD and Revit are not the same.
You don't say what background you have or what you are looking for. You can't start in the middle. You need training first in architecture, engineering, interior design or constrution management. Then you may be able to determine what tools you need.

www.cadlearning.com has 45 hours of Revit tutorials.... I think I will start with that... Do you have any favorites? Suggestions ?
I have been drafting in Autocad since 1995

Don't use 2013 - it was probably the worst release. Use at least 2014 or better yet - 2015.

You can download 2015.
Revit is licensed but you can download and use / learn without a license.

Ah great ! I guess 2013 is impossible to learn anything on... I might as well throw my computer out the window.

I didn't say it was impossible to learn anything and your computer doesn't have anythign to do with your software. It is just a hard release, especially with materials. CAdclips.com is a good one and youtube has a lot of tutorials.
