I'm exporting from Revit 2015 to dwg using the "Export category properties BYLAYER and overrides BYENTITY" option and a customized DWG/DXF Export Setup. Not sure it matters but I'm exporting to 2013 dwg file type and opening in AutoCAD Architecture 2015.
My problem is that certain system families that have a color selection in the type properties, such as text notes or filled regions, are exporting as if that color is an override. The result is every text note in my resulting dwg file is appearing on the correct layer but with the color overriden to white/black instead of being BYLAYER. There are no overrides on these objects in Revit, by category or by element. On a side note, the leaders attached to those text notes are also exporting as if the color is overridden, but to "250" instead of just white/black...
Any solutions that don't involve abandoning the "Export category properties BYLAYER and overrides BYENTITY" option or changing the system family colors for all my text notes in Revit every time I export?
