Hi guys, I am looking after a couple new Revit users and he stumbled onto a problem.
This is probably an oldie, but I can't remember running into this problem for a number of years.
His local file is so old it is not able to link with Central.
So I told him to create a new local. I told him he should create new locals every week or so at least. Just so these problems don't happen.
So he clicked File Open, and clicked the central file once. He looked to see if the "Create New Local" box was checked, but it was actually greyed out. Can someone help me out here?
Thanks!

Open local detached if he has no central then the create new central is automatic.
If he has a central, do a save as then the create new central will be under options.
