Hi guys,

I've linked an architectural model into an existing MEP project. I am now amending plans that include heating and electrical layouts that already exist within the model.

The issue im having is that some of the layouts do not show the linked revit plan while others do. Please see image to illustrate. Can anyone give me some pointers as to why the plan is not showing?

Ive checked graphics/visibility settings. Underlay settings, view range, hidden elements etc to no avail. All appears fine.

Any pointers would be great.

Thanks.

Andy

It may be simple VG - Turn on the linked model.  Seperate tab in VG.

Hi WWHub,

Checked the VG > links tab - the link model is showing as switched on in all the plan views.

I'm stumped!

Is the link in it's own workset and is that workset on in the view?

Is the model in the right place?   It may be higher, lower or off in space in relation to the MEP.  Open a 3D view with everything on and do a zoom e.

Link is in its own workset, The workset is on in all views.

The link is also in its correct potision in relation to MEP. I created a 3d view orient to drainage layout which is missing the link. The link shows up in this 3d view

Please see images attached to show.

I think im missing something simple here!

Thanks

Andy

I'm still not sure what is what here.

It appears you have CAD linked in with 'All view' checked.   All 2D Cad will hide revit components that it covers.   This may be your issue.   Turn your view to transparent and see if the model shows up now.
