Is there a way to add a gable along a straight roofline? In other words, I want to simulate a gable without moving any walls to create the offsets you would normally have with a true gable. I haven't been able to find a way to make it work on Revit. I can make it happen when I frame the structure, but I don't know how to make it work in the program.

I used the "roof by extrusion" to create the look, but there are several problems:

I can't join the roofs

I cant flush the front of the gable with the existing hip

Thanks for the help! I figured it was probably a very easy fix that I was blind to.

I got it to work, but how do you adjust the slope? I need to join to another roof and I am having trouble getting the pitch to match.

Thanks
