Your reference plane will only show in the view that it is perpendicular to.

Reference planes are just like level planes..... They have a start and end. If they don't extend into the view range, they will not show.

Hmm Im confused. I placed the plane at 80" above the floor while in the front facade view. why wouldnt it show in the left right and side views as it is perpendicular. also, how does the view range work in this instance. if you draw a plane sholdnt is show in the other elevations?
lastly, the other reference plane set at 8 feet shows just fine. you can see it on the image I posted.

Right teafoe but the problem here is the extends of the plane. If it shows in front then the side view will also be perpindicular to the plane.

Show us an image of your floor plan showing where your reference planes are. If its not an extents problem then WWHub is correct otherwise it is a problem as I described.

Actually, if he just grabs the work plane in the 3D view where he has it shown and drags the right side grip to the right, then it will show up in that view.

Another quick fix is to select a ref plane, right click and ‘maximize 3D extents’, done.
