We are moving from Cad to revit and I've noticed that when I place a socket or other item the annotation (for instance a 2) will not stay at zero degrees but turn to the angle of the placed item.
Whilst this is a minor irk in the scale of things we have always shown the annotation at zero deg on plans and my employers are keen to continue this.
Is there an easy fix for this (check box or something) or are we talking re-engineering of the family?

Yes, I had tried this its a halfway house and better than without but still not utopia.
Im thinking there must be a formula or rule that can be put into the family to keep the nested 2D image or annotation at 0 deg.
