Revit City,

Is there a way to select an object in one view and have a command hide it in all other views? (without having to go to every view and clicking on the object and hiding it?)

In this particular case its an autocad file on my site plan, and it will be tedious to go to every view and hide it.

Put it on a workset and set it to not show in views by default.

When you go to link the cad file in, you could check "In Current View Only". That's what we do when we're referencing our cad files in Revit. I can't remember if it still shows in 3D that way, but it only shows up in the open view and we don't have to hide it in others.

of course, you would still see it if you did callouts/ details from that view.
